Yeah, seems like an extraordinary decision.
As a keeper he was just coming into his prime and still improving. Was also their best player by a long way and would have got a very high price on the transfer market.

What part of the board don't reconnise the players are all knackerd after playing in a cup semi-final and could get blooming injured as their fitness levels are all down. I now have to risk 2 players because it won't let me play a fully fit replacement. I understand why they do this but fitness of players should be considerd before refusing the line up.

I believe that the fitness is taken into account but as far as I recall the fitness has to be at least into the yellow zone for them to be excluded.
It would certainly be better if the manager was given a bit more freedom in the lineups.
Thnx Numpty. Makes you laugh though it has scheldued my final 2 hours before my away league game and will then expext to me to field a strong line up. I'm sorry but it can't have it both ways.

The "board" restrictions are a real nuisance.
For me selecting lineups is the most annoying part of the game as I try to give 1st team experience to as many youngsters as I can.
If it was real life I would be telling the board exactly where they could shove their "damaged reputation".
If only it was that easy
